The expedition overland pull-out vehicle camping side awning from Direct4x4 provides protection from the elements all year round; great for work or leisure! Available in multiple sizes/configurations and fabric colours; you can even add a full heavy-duty tent conversion to camp out in the awning.
NOTE: Unsuitable for high roof vans.
The 1st measurement is along the side of the vehicle, the 2nd measurement is the pull-out distance. The adjustable vertical poles included have a maximum height of 2.2m, suitable for most 4x4s and SUVs. Before purchase, we recommend measuring the length of your vehicle and roof rack/bars. If you are unsure, please contact our sales team.
NOTE: Add-on panels need to be secured to the VERTICAL poles using the guide ropes/pegs provided. We recommend using the guide ropes included at all times, even in fine weather. If using on a hard surface, a suitable weight can secure the ropes.
- Awnings and optional panels are all made from durable 225GSM 420D Oxford polyester with double stitched seams and impregnated mosquito repellents. Waterproof, mould proof and rot proof with a 100% UV block out rate.
- All poles and spreaders are made of tough rustproof anodised structural aluminium.
- Easy to fit and setup. Designed to fit either side of vehicle. Fits neatly to your existing roof rack/bars using the brackets provided. Simply roll out of the protective bag and flex out the poles to fit - takes 5 mins.
- Heavy-duty UV stabilised, 600GSM, 500D PVC protective cover with reliable zipper.
- The optional side wall panels attach to the horizontal poles using velcro straps and provide a perfect windbreak or sunblock.
- Daily water column: 2000mm.
- Bracket Dimensions: Length=21cm (8.3in), width=3cm (1.2in), depth=4mm (0.1in). Gap between hole centres=5cm (2in).

- Ensure you have received all necessary components; if there's anything missing let us know right away.
- Avoid using TFR (Traffic Film Remover) products as this may cause corrosion and invalidate the warranty.
- Do not use expedition products in severe weather conditions.
- Pack all expedition gear away securely before driving vehicle.
- Expedition items should be dry before closing but if packed wet, open again at earliest convenience to dry fully.
- All drawer storage systems/load bed covers/cargo trays/roof tents/vehicle awnings etc. should be closed securely before driving.

- We advise using at least 2 people to fit larger items.
- For the majority of our side steps, no chassis drilling will be required. Undertray shields will need to be removed before fitting and trimmed around the bolt locations using a dia cutter or something similar. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.
- For safety, check all bolts/brackets 7 days after installation and inspect all fixtures every 3 months.
- Our roof tents and roof racks are designed to be fitted together. If using roof bars instead of a rack, we recommend 3 or more roof bars a minimum of 1.2m apart for safety.

- UK mainland orders are delivered within 5-7 working days, larger items may take longer. International shipping costs will be applied during checkout and are typically delivered within 7-14 working days.
- Any additional charges for deliveries outside of the UK mainland, including currency conversions, local customs taxes etc. are wholly the responsibility of the recipient.
- VAT will only be deducted for orders from outside of the UK. We are unable to deduct VAT for orders delivered inside the UK, even if they are to be exported at a later date.
- For larger items, you may be contacted directly by the courier to arrange a delivery date and time convenient for you.
- Some orders could comprise of multiple consignments which may be delivered separately.
- If there is an issue with a delivery or you need to return an item, please call us on 01332 601016 or email support@direct4x4.co.uk within 14 days of receipt.
- Any items returned to us must be unused, in a saleable condition and in the original packaging.
