Established in 1997, Direct4x4 are one of the UK’s leading distributors of custom auto styling accessories and overland camping gear for 4x4s, SUVs, vans an pickup trucks. We are looking for a a highly motivated individual who enjoys interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds; entrepreneurs to pensioners, who all love their 4x4's and SUV's. We have built up good relationships with both customers and suppliers and are looking for people to continue this tradition in a diligent and conscientious manner, being able to not only close the deal, but build a lifelong relationship with the customer.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will not only be responsible for caring for our customers but the position will be varied as we share workloads across our existing team. No two days will be the same!

Pay: NLW + monthly team sales commission bonus (after 3 month probation period)
Type: Full time/permanent
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
Location: Derby, UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming support contacts on the multiple channels (telephone, email, live chat etc.)
  • Using an industry standard CRM to answer questions, resolve issues and complaints and gather customer feedback.
  • Taking and processing incoming orders.
  • Work with other team members to resolve any inventory, product, technical payment or customer contact issues.
  • General office administrator duties.
  • Occasional off-site work at trade shows etc.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • IT literacy, specifically Microsoft Windows and Office.
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to take on additional office-based tasks that leverage your existing knowledge, experience and skill set.

Beneficial

  • Basic knowledge of eCommerce/marketing principals such as SEO, PPC, social media, mailshots, blogs etc.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, Linnworks plus the Shopify, eBay and Amazon ecommerce marketplaces.
  • Product photography as well as video/photo editing skills.
  • Any mechanical/car/engineering knowledge would be favoured.
